USDA + FDA Contract Sanitation · HACCP · PCQI · SQF

Regulatory‑grade sanitation.
Inspection‑ready every shift.

FermiPro Clean provides contract sanitation, sanitation program support, and training for USDA- and FDA-regulated food facilities. We execute overnight sanitation protocols, ATP verification, and SSOP documentation so your team is inspection-ready before startup.

Not labor-only cleaning. A sanitation control system.

FermiPro Clean supplies labor where needed, but the product is controlled execution: written SSOPs, chemistry verification, pre-op release criteria, ATP trending, corrective action discipline, and records that stand up when QA, customers, or regulators ask for proof.

Best fit

USDA meat and poultry, egg handling, RTE, dairy, beverage, cold storage, and FDA-regulated food manufacturing.

Use cases

Audit preparation, startup delays, pre-op failures, environmental positives, allergen changeovers, program resets, and third-party sanitation gaps.

Buyer path

Designed for plant managers, QA directors, FSQA leaders, operations leaders, and owners who need sanitation to perform as a measurable control.

§ 01 · The stakes

Sanitation is the quietest lever in your plant — until it isn't.

Foodborne pathogens don't negotiate with production schedules. Our job is to make sure your sanitation program stands up to regulatory scrutiny shift after shift — so a held lot, audit finding, plant-level action, or recall doesn't start on a surface we were responsible for.

§ 03 · The cycle

Seven steps. Every shift. Documented.

Our crews follow a written, regulatory-aligned sanitation sequence for every line and every shift — with chemistry, temperature, dwell time, and verification logged at each step. The sequence is written before we start, followed as written, and documented as we go.

STEP 01
Dry pickup
ToolScraper + vac
TempAmbient
Time15 – 25 min

Removes gross soil before water touches the line — reducing chemical demand, water load, and downstream harborage risk.

STEP 02
Pre-rinse
Pressure200 – 400 psi
Temp49 °C / 120 °F
Time10 – 15 min

Warm-water rinse to displace fats and proteins before they can set into biofilms.

STEP 03
Foam / detergent
ChemAlk. chlor. 3–5%
Dwell10 – 20 min
Temp45 – 55 °C

Chlorinated alkaline foam saponifies fats and lifts protein residue from stainless and plastic alike.

STEP 04
Scrub & agitate
ToolColor-coded brush
ZonePer Z1–Z4 kit
Time20 – 40 min

Mechanical action is what actually removes biofilm. Color-coded tools prevent cross-contact between zones.

STEP 05
Rinse + acid
ChemPhos. acid 1–2%
Temp25 – 40 °C
Time10 – 15 min

Neutralizes alkaline residue and removes mineral scale that traps organics and shelters pathogens.

STEP 06
Sanitize
ChemQ.A.C. or PAA
ppm150 – 400 ppm
ContactNo-rinse

Label-compliant sanitizer applied to food-contact surfaces at verified concentration.

STEP 07
Pre-op + ATP
VerifyATP RLU log
SwabAPC / LM
RecordBinder + PDF

Pre-operational inspection with ATP luminometry and a targeted swab program. Equipment is released only when defined pre-op criteria are met.

§ 04 · Proof

What good looks like, measured.

Claims without verification are marketing. FermiPro Clean is built around measurable sanitation execution, documented release criteria, and records your team can defend under inspection or audit.

1 ATP targets vary by luminometer model and plant risk profile. FermiPro sets thresholds per-engagement based on your meter and pre-op standards.

§ 04.a · Documentation

The binder your inspector asks for.

Every FermiPro engagement produces a written Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure keyed to your plant, your product risk, sanitation zones, and line speed — not a template. Each page is dated, signed, and backed by the ATP and swab records that prove it was actually followed.

When an inspector, auditor, or customer walks in, your records need to match what happened on the floor. That's the product.

§ 06 · FAQ

Real questions from plant managers.

If yours isn't here, call the number in the footer. We'd rather answer you directly than pretend in a sales deck.

Most regulated facilities schedule sanitation on 2nd or 3rd shift so the line is clean and verified before the next day's production. We can support all three shifts, weekends, holidays, sanitation windows, and product or allergen changeovers. The only thing we ask for is enough lead time to secure chemistry and PPE for your specific zones.

We follow your approved chemical program and product labels. Typical programs may include alkaline cleaners, acid cleaners, and QAC or PAA sanitizers where appropriate. Concentration, dwell time, temperature, compatibility, and verification method are documented as part of the sanitation record.

Every cycle produces a signed SSOP record: chemistry, concentration, temperature, dwell time, verification results, and the crew member who ran it. We add ATP luminometer readings at pre-op with thresholds set by meter, surface type, and plant risk profile, plus targeted microbial swabs where required. You get a physical binder and a monthly PDF trend report for your QA lead.

Both. For plants without an internal sanitation program, we bring a dedicated FermiPro crew — lead, techs, QA verifier — trained on your SSOPs before they ever touch a line. For plants that already have a team, we'll shoulder-to-shoulder supplement on heavy shifts or deep-clean events, and we can cross-train your staff on any protocol we write.

We design color-coded Zone-1 through Zone-4 tools and sanitation controls around your product risk, allergen profile, and food safety plan. Where equipment is shared between products or allergen groups, we build a documented changeover protocol with cleaning, verification, and release criteria before the next run.

Both. We work with large multi-line processors and smaller regulated facilities, including meat, poultry, egg handling, RTE, dairy, beverage, and FDA-regulated food manufacturing operations. Pricing scales to the facility, and our SSOP + HACCP program-build engagement is often the best fit for plants growing into a more formal food-safety posture.
